Balanced, warm, and designed for comfortable spinning, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth apple wood shaft paired with a dense pear wood whorl, completed with a walnut and mulberry lap support bowl for relaxed, extended spinning sessions.

At 29 grams, this spindle offers confident momentum while remaining versatile, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and relaxed plying. The 24.5 cm (9.6″) length keeps the spindle compact and controlled while still providing strong, steady rotation.

The lap support bowl provides a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. Walnut adds durability and weight, while mulberry contributes warmth and a smooth spinning surface.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
