Strong, compact, and beautifully balanced, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth beech wood shaft paired with a dense pear wood whorl, completed with a matching beech support bowl for stable, controlled spinning.

At 29 grams, this spindle offers confident momentum in a shorter format, making it ideal for medium yarns, longwools, alpaca blends, and relaxed plying. The 24 cm (9.4″) length keeps the spindle compact and precise while still delivering powerful, sustained rotation.

Beech provides strength and stability in the shaft, while pear adds smooth density and refined balance at the whorl. The beech support bowl offers a neutral, low-friction spinning surface that complements the spindle’s weight and control.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a smooth, fiber-safe surface.
