At 22 grams, this spindle accelerates quickly while maintaining excellent control, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and everyday supported spinning. The longer 27 cm (10.6″) length provides graceful reach and steady handling, especially appreciated by spinners who enjoy longer drafting.
The lap support bowl offers a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. Pear brings smoothness to the spinning surface, while walnut adds durability and warmth.
Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
