Support Spindle – Apple Shaft & Pear Whorl, 25.5 cm / 10″, 25 g + Lap Bowl

Warm, smooth, and designed for comfortable spinning, this artisan support spindle set features a responsive apple wood shaft paired with a refined pear wood whorl, completed with a chestnut and sycamore lap support bowl for relaxed, extended spinning sessions.

At 25 grams, this spindle offers a versatile balance of speed and momentum, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and everyday supported spinning. The 25.5 cm (10″) length provides steady control and a clean, predictable spin path.

The lap support bowl offers a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. Chestnut adds warmth and stability, while sycamore contributes a smooth, low-friction spinning surface.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
