Warm, balanced, and beautifully crafted, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth apple wood shaft paired with a stable walnut wood whorl, completed with a pear and mulberry lap support bowl for comfortable, extended spinning sessions.

At 22 grams, this spindle offers a light-to-mid weight feel, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The longer 27 cm (10.6″) profile provides generous drafting space while maintaining steady, predictable rotation.

Apple wood adds responsiveness and warmth to the shaft, while walnut contributes balanced density and smooth spin performance. The lap support bowl offers a wider, stable base than standard bowls, reducing interruptions and supporting longer spin times.

The combination of pear and mulberry in the bowl creates a refined natural contrast while maintaining durability and smooth spinning performance.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
