Delicate, responsive, and beautifully balanced, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth beech wood shaft paired with a refined pear wood whorl, completed with a matching beech support bowl for smooth, reliable spinning.

At 16 grams, this spindle is ideal for very fine yarns, lace spinning, silk, cotton, and other delicate fibers that benefit from quick acceleration and low inertia. The compact 22.5 cm (8.9″) length provides excellent control and precision, making it perfect for detailed, mindful spinning and travel use.

Beech offers stability and a clean feel in hand, while pear adds smoothness and precise balance at the whorl. The beech bowl provides a neutral, low-friction spinning surface that complements the spindle’s lightweight nature.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
