Warm, confident, and beautifully balanced — this artisan support spindle set combines a smooth chestnut wood shaft with a refined pear wood whorl, finished with a lap-style support bowl crafted from apple and walnut wood.

At 28 grams, the spindle offers excellent momentum, making it ideal for medium to heavier yarns, longwools, alpaca blends, and relaxed plying. The 26 cm (10.2″) length provides steady control and a comfortable spin path, supporting long, even rotations.

The lap support bowl is wider and more stable than standard bowls, allowing the spindle to spin freely on your lap or table with minimal interruption. Apple brings smoothness and warmth, while walnut adds durability and visual depth — together creating a bowl designed for long, uninterrupted spinning.

Each piece is hand-turned in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
