Lightweight, elegant, and beautifully balanced, this handmade support spindle for yarn spinning features a walnut wood shaft paired with a pear and walnut whorl, complemented by a beech support bowl.

With a weight of 15 grams, this spindle is ideal for fine yarns, lace spinning, wool, alpaca blends, and delicate fibers. The 23 cm (9.1″) length provides excellent control and smooth drafting while maintaining stable rotation.

Walnut wood offers durability and a comfortable feel in hand, while the pear-walnut whorl creates balanced weight distribution and a beautiful natural wood contrast that enhances spinning stability.

The beech support bowl provides a smooth spinning surface and stable base for supported spinning on the lap or table.

Each spindle set is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax to protect the wood and highlight its natural grain.
