Smooth, elegant, and beautifully balanced, this artisan support spindle set features a refined pear wood shaft paired with a stable walnut wood whorl, completed with a beech support bowl for comfortable, reliable spinning.

At 22 grams, this spindle offers a light-to-mid weight feel, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The 24.5 cm (9.6″) length provides excellent control and steady, predictable rotation.

Pear wood contributes a silky, responsive feel to the shaft, while walnut adds balanced density and stability at the whorl. The beech bowl provides a neutral, low-friction spinning surface that complements the spindle’s weight and control.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax to enhance durability and highlight the natural beauty of the wood.
