About Kravelli

About Us | Kravelli

Welcome to Kravelli, a small workshop with a big love for yarn spinning and traditional craftsmanship. We make each of our handmade spinning tools with care, hoping to bring warmth, comfort, and inspiration to fiber artists around the world.

Kravelli was founded in 2021 by Georgian journalist and writer Dea Tsutskiridze, who wanted to share the beauty of Georgian and Caucasian spinning traditions with the world. What started as a simple idea has now grown into a cherished space where heritage, craftsmanship, and the fiber arts community come together.

Every spindle, stand, and tool we create is made by hand in the Republic of Georgia using time-honored techniques and carefully selected woods like cherry, walnut, beech, pear, and apple. We love working with these materials, shaping them into tools that feel good in the hands and bring joy to the spinning process.

What We Believe In

  • Handmade with heart – Every tool carries the touch of skilled hands and the warmth of tradition.
  • Celebrating fiber arts – We want to keep the spirit of Georgian and Caucasian spinning culture alive.
  • Quality that lasts – Our tools are designed to be beautiful, practical, and durable.
  • Friendly and personal service – We’re always here to chat, answer questions, and make sure you feel at home with us.

Our motto, "We Provide Character," reflects our love for creating tools that aren’t just useful, but also full of history, charm, and personality. Whether you're a seasoned spinner or just starting your fiber journey, we hope our tools bring something special to your craft.

Thank you for stopping by Kravelli—we're so happy to share a piece of our world with you!
