Couldn't load pickup availability
This handmade rotating spindle stand provides organized storage and display for up to 24 drop or support spindles. Made from walnut, beech, and pear wood, it features 17 cm of clearance between the two spindle-holding discs and is individually made in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia.
Its layered multi-wood construction turns practical spindle storage into a display piece for a handspinner’s collection.
Use Profile
Designed for both drop spindles and support spindles, the stand provides 24 individual positions for storing and displaying a spindle collection.
The rotating construction allows different sections of the collection to be brought into view without needing to move the complete stand.
There is 17 cm / 6.69 in of space between the two discs, an important measurement when checking compatibility with individual spindle shapes and whorl positions.

Why This Version
This version combines several woods across different parts of the stand rather than using a single species throughout.
The base brings together walnut and beech, the central handle is walnut, the upper disc combines beech and walnut, and the top is finished with a pear wood tip. This gives the stand a layered natural appearance while maintaining space for a substantial 24-spindle collection.
What You Receive
- One handmade rotating spindle stand
- Storage positions for up to 24 spindles
Spindles shown in product photographs are not included unless specifically stated otherwise.
Care
Wipe the stand gently with a clean, dry cloth.
Avoid:
- Prolonged exposure to moisture
- Strong household cleaning products
- Extreme heat
- Direct heating sources
- Forcing spindles into openings that are too small for them
Lift the stand from its main structure rather than by individual wooden details when moving it with spindles installed.
Handmade Character
Walnut, beech, and pear naturally vary in grain, colour, tone, and markings. Small differences between individual stands are expected and are part of the character of a handmade wooden fiber arts tool.
