Rich in contrast and beautifully balanced, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth apple wood shaft paired with a distinctive multi-wood whorl crafted from walnut, chestnut, and mulberry. The set is completed with a pear and beechwood lap support bowl for stable, extended spinning sessions.

At 24 grams, this spindle offers a versatile mid-weight feel, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and relaxed everyday spinning. The 26 cm (10.2″) length provides comfortable drafting space and steady, predictable rotation.

The layered hardwood whorl adds both visual character and balanced density, while the apple shaft provides responsiveness and warmth. The lap support bowl offers a wider base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions — perfect for relaxed spinning at a table or in your lap.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax to protect the wood and enhance its natural grain.
