Warm, responsive, and designed for comfort, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth apple wood shaft paired with a refined pear wood whorl, completed with a pear and mulberry lap support bowl for relaxed, extended spinning sessions.

At 26 grams, this spindle provides confident momentum while remaining versatile, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and everyday supported spinning. The 25.5 cm (10″) length offers steady control and a clean, predictable spin path.

The lap support bowl provides a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. Pear contributes smoothness at the spinning surface, while mulberry adds warmth and durability, creating a beautifully balanced and visually rich bowl.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
