Support Spindle – Chestnut Shaft & Beech Whorl, 23.5 cm / 9.3″, 15 g + Lap Bowl

Light, elegant, and designed for comfort, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth chestnut wood shaft paired with a stable beech wood whorl, completed with a pear lap support bowl for relaxed, extended spinning sessions.

At just 15 grams, this spindle is ideal for very fine yarns, lace spinning, silk, cotton, and delicate fibers that benefit from quick acceleration and minimal weight. The 23.5 cm (9.3″) length offers excellent control while remaining compact and travel-friendly.

The lap support bowl provides a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. Pear wood adds smoothness and warmth to the spinning surface, complementing the light, responsive feel of the spindle.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
