Warm, stable, and beautifully weighted, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth chestnut wood shaft paired with a rich walnut wood whorl, completed with a handcrafted walnut lap support bowl for comfortable, extended spinning sessions.

At 25 grams, this spindle offers a versatile balance of speed and momentum, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The 25 cm (9.8″) length provides steady control and a clean, predictable spin path.

The lap support bowl offers a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing for longer spin times and reduced interruption. Walnut adds durability and warmth, while chestnut keeps the spindle light and responsive in hand.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
