Elegant, responsive, and beautifully balanced, this handmade support spindle for yarn spinning features a smooth pear wood shaft combined with a dense walnut wood whorl, paired with a beech support bowl.

With a weight of 18 grams, this spindle is ideal for fine yarns, lace spinning, wool, alpaca blends, and delicate fiber drafting. The 25 cm (9.8″) length provides excellent control and comfortable drafting space while maintaining stable rotation.

Pear wood offers a refined texture and smooth feel in hand, while the walnut whorl adds balanced weight that helps the spindle spin steadily and efficiently.

The beech support bowl provides a stable and smooth spinning surface for supported spinning on the lap or table.

Each spindle set is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax to protect the wood and enhance its natural grain.
