Warm, elegant, and designed for comfort, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth plum wood shaft paired with a stable walnut wood whorl, completed with a beech and walnut lap support bowl for long, relaxed spinning sessions.

At 27 grams, this spindle provides confident momentum while remaining versatile, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and comfortable everyday supported spinning. The 25 cm (9.8″) length offers steady control and a clean, predictable spin path.

The lap support bowl offers a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. Beech adds smoothness to the spinning surface, while walnut contributes durability and warmth.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
