Elegant, well-balanced, and beautifully contrasted, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth walnut wood shaft paired with a light-toned ash wood whorl, completed with a mulberry and pear lap support bowl for stable, comfortable spinning.

At 23 grams, this spindle offers a versatile mid-weight feel, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The 25.5 cm (10″) length provides steady control and a smooth, predictable spin path.

Walnut adds warmth and stability to the shaft, while ash contributes lighter density and crisp visual contrast at the whorl. The lap support bowl offers a wider, stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. The mulberry and pear combination enhances durability while creating a refined natural aesthetic.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
