Balanced, smooth, and designed for comfort, this artisan support spindle set features a refined walnut wood shaft paired with a silky pear wood whorl, completed with a pear and walnut lap support bowl for extended, uninterrupted spinning sessions.

At 26 grams, this spindle provides confident momentum while remaining versatile, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The longer 27.5 cm (10.8″) length offers excellent reach and a steady spin path, perfect for spinners who enjoy longer drafting.

The lap support bowl offers a wider, more stable base than standard bowls, allowing longer spin times with fewer interruptions. Pear provides smoothness at the spinning surface, while walnut adds durability and warmth.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
