Warm, stable, and beautifully balanced, this artisan support spindle set features a smooth walnut wood shaft paired with a refined walnut and pear wood whorl, completed with a handcrafted beech support bowl for smooth, reliable spinning.

At 28 grams, this spindle offers confident momentum while remaining versatile, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The 26 cm (10.2″) length provides comfortable reach and a steady, predictable spin path.

Walnut adds strength and warmth to the shaft, while pear in the whorl brings smoothness and balanced density. The beech bowl provides a neutral, low-friction spinning surface that complements the spindle’s weight and control.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
