Strong, elegant, and beautifully balanced, this artisan support spindle set is crafted entirely from walnut wood and paired with a pear and walnut lap support bowl for stable, comfortable spinning.

At 32 grams, this spindle offers strong momentum, making it ideal for medium to heavier yarns, wool, alpaca blends, textured fibers, and comfortable plying. The 24.5 cm (9.6″) length provides excellent control while maintaining long, steady spin times.

Walnut wood is known for its durability and balanced density, producing reliable rotation and a warm natural appearance. The lap support bowl offers a wider, stable spinning surface compared to standard bowls, allowing longer uninterrupted spinning sessions.

The combination of walnut and pear in the bowl adds durability while creating a beautiful natural contrast.

Each piece is handmade in Georgia in the Kravelli workshop and finished with natural oils and beeswax to protect the wood and highlight its natural grain.
