At 29 grams, this spindle offers excellent momentum while remaining versatile, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The 25 cm (9.8″) length provides steady control and a predictable spin path.
Apple wood brings warmth and responsiveness to the shaft, while pear adds smooth density and balance at the whorl. The sycamore bowl provides a clean, gentle spinning surface that complements the spindle’s weight and feel.
Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
