Strong, stable, and built for long spin times, this artisan support spindle set features a solid apple wood shaft paired with a dense pear wood whorl, completed with a walnut lap support bowl for maximum comfort and stability during extended spinning sessions.

At 39 grams, this spindle delivers exceptional momentum, making it ideal for medium to heavy yarns, longwools, alpaca, rustic fibers, and confident plying. The 27 cm (10.6″) length provides excellent reach and control, supporting slow, powerful, and consistent rotation.

The lap support bowl offers a wide, stable base, allowing uninterrupted spinning with minimal effort. Walnut adds durability and weight to the bowl, while apple and pear combine warmth, smoothness, and balance in the spindle itself.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a smooth, fiber-safe surface.
