At just 16 grams, this spindle is ideal for very fine yarns, lace spinning, silk, cotton, and delicate fibers that benefit from quick acceleration and low inertia. The 24.5 cm (9.6″) length provides excellent control and precision, making it especially enjoyable for detailed, mindful spinning.
Apple wood brings lightness and a lively feel to the shaft, while walnut adds stability and balance at the whorl. The beech bowl offers a neutral, smooth spinning surface that complements the spindle without adding unnecessary weight.
Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
