Balanced, smooth, and elegant, this artisan support spindle set features a sturdy beech wood shaft paired with a refined pear wood whorl, completed with a handcrafted sycamore support bowl for reliable, low-friction spinning.

At 27 grams, this spindle offers confident momentum while remaining versatile, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and relaxed everyday supported spinning. The longer 27.5 cm (10.8″) length provides excellent reach and a steady, predictable spin path.

Beech brings stability and strength to the shaft, while pear contributes smoothness and precise balance at the whorl. The sycamore bowl adds a clean, neutral spinning surface with subtle visual contrast, completing a refined and functional set.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
