At 13 grams, this spindle is ideal for fine yarns, lace weight spinning, cotton, silk, and delicate fibers. The compact 22 cm (8.7″) length provides excellent control and precise drafting while maintaining smooth and steady rotation.
Beech wood offers strength and stability, while walnut adds natural density and visual contrast. Together they create a balanced spindle that performs smoothly while showcasing beautiful natural wood tones.
The pear lap support bowl provides a stable spinning surface with a wider base than standard bowls, allowing longer uninterrupted spinning sessions whether used on the lap or a table.
Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax to protect the wood and enhance its natural grain.
