Elegant, warm, and beautifully responsive — this artisan support spindle set features a smooth plum wood shaft paired with a bright, refined pear wood whorl, completed with a handcrafted beech support bowl.

At 22 grams, this spindle offers an excellent balance of speed and momentum, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca, silk blends, and everyday supported spinning. The 26 cm (10.2″) length provides comfortable reach and stable control, allowing for clean, even rotation.

Plum wood brings a subtle richness and silky feel to the shaft, while pear adds smoothness and precise balance to the whorl. The beech bowl provides a neutral, stable spinning base that complements the spindle’s warm tones.

Each piece is hand-turned in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
