At 33 grams, this spindle provides excellent momentum, making it ideal for medium to heavier yarns, longwools, alpaca blends, rustic fibers, and comfortable plying. The 25.5 cm (10″) length offers a compact yet powerful spin profile, supporting slow, sustained rotation with excellent control.
The beech–walnut whorl combines stability and weight, while walnut in the shaft adds strength and a warm, refined feel in hand. The beech support bowl provides a smooth, neutral spinning surface that complements the spindle’s balance and weight.
Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax for a silky, fiber-safe surface.
