Elegant, balanced, and comfortable to spin, this artisan support spindle set features a durable walnut wood shaft paired with a smooth beech wood whorl, complemented by a pear and beech lap support bowl designed for stable supported spinning.

With a weight of 21 grams, this spindle offers excellent versatility, making it ideal for fine to medium yarns, wool, alpaca blends, and everyday spinning. The 25 cm (9.8″) length provides steady rotation while giving the spinner comfortable drafting space.

Walnut wood provides strength and stability, while beech contributes smooth density and visual contrast. Together they create a well-balanced spindle that spins consistently and comfortably.

The pear and beech lap support bowl provides a wider spinning surface than standard bowls, allowing longer uninterrupted spinning sessions whether used on the lap or on a table.

Each piece is handmade in the Kravelli workshop in Georgia and finished with natural oils and beeswax to protect the wood and enhance its natural beauty.
